Will I get an installation Gas safety certificate?
Our Gas safe hob fitter will provide a gas appliance installation certificate as standard with all our gas appliance installation jobs which can be used for your house insurance or provide as a proof for your housing association or local council if you rent your property.

You must be Gas Safe registered to work on any gas appliances. It is illegal for anyone to work on or connect any gas appliances, such as a gas hob, unless they are fully trained and Gas Safe registered. Therefore, you must hire a qualified, Gas Safe registered professional Gas Engineer to install your gas hob for you safely.
Gas hobs should be installed on rigid copper pipework and an isolation tap provided.
Our Gas Safe registered installers carry a photo ID Gas Safe card. On the back of the card there will be a list of appliances which each individual gas engineer is qualified to work on.
We provide our customers with gas hob installation gas safety certificates once we have completed the work.
